Changwon Areas: Downtown Misc           Changwon is a city located about 50 km west of Busan in the Gyeongsangnam (south Gyeongsang) province. It was founded in 1978 and was the 17th most populous city in South Korea as of 2002. Its population grew by 33% from 1992 to 2002 to reach 518 thousand. As of 2005, the population is of 526 thousand.		Changwon. Population as of 2002: 518 thousand.
